Predestination can be a pretty contentious and intimidating topic and people have diverse views. However, the New Testament often mentions God choosing us and so it is part of the “whole counsel of God”. It is there for a reason, and we should not ignore it.
My approach will attempt to be personal and simple. It is not possible to be comprehensive within the allotted time and so I will mainly focus on:
- What is the primary cause of our salvation through Christ? Is it
- Our choice to follow Christ, or
- God’s choice of us
I will attempt to provide the arguments for both sides but also express my opinions and experience on this matter. However, feel free to form your own conclusion. I don’t mind.
